Since I have travel a lot with my portable hard drive, it was necessary for me to buy a reliable portable hard drive case. My search for a good case ended when I found the Case Logic Compact Portable Hard Drive Case on Amazon.com at a very reasonable price. The case logic portable hard drive case has a tough external shell which feels durable and the inner shell is soft and well padded. The seams are done carefully and overall the case is very well formed.
I used the case with a Western Digital Passport II (black) WDXMSxxxx drives (5.1″x3.1″x0.6″) but it was slightly big for it. As such the drive used to wiggle even when using the elastic strap provided inside. I think it will be better fitted to a slightly bigger drive such as Seagate’s ST9xxxxx1U2-RK. [click to continue…]
